33-45 & Pitch Zero Point LED Guide |
|
IMPORTANT ![]()
Please don't forget safety and unplug your unit while servicing!

The white trigger (shown above) activates the power switch.
Not shown, underneath the white trigger,
rest a spring and ball-bearing to lock the
switch in On/Off positions.
Your kit includes a replacent spring, ball-bearing and two clamps in case the components are lost during replacement.
Below are steps to take to prevent the accidental removal of this part.

Use tape to firmly secure the white trigger into place. Then remove the entire switch assembly where screw-point are shown.
Start with the 4 black screws that hold in the larger black plastic panel.

Next, remove the red
and gold screws which hold in the switch pcb and replace.
When removing the pcb, gently pull up and out of the two slots at an angle.
IMPORTANT ![]()
After replacing the new PCB. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN the screws. Adjustment of the RED screw may be necessary to prevent mistriggering of 33/45 switches, all models slightly in manufacture.
It is best to leave the RED screw a bit loose just a little. Most support questions are a result of improperly positioning this pcb back into place and over-tightening of the central screw .

Use one hand to secure the white trigger switch (pushing inwards) and
gently pull off the black "on/off"
switch cap. It should easily pull off by iteself.
Do attempt to twist off!

Care must be taken in removal of the strobe aluminum housing
unit.
It is recommended to investigate
how the pcb it "wedged" in place
by the three retainer clips before removing this pcb. The aluminum housing should be able to
twist off without using much effort.
The opaque window should remain in tact in the metal cylinder. However, if it does separate. It can easily be re-glued into the aluminum housing.
Studying the above photo before immediately
replacing this part.
Can greatly help prevent incorrect re-assembly.
IMPORTANT ![]()
Do not move or bend the strobe LEDs. You risk damaging the solder connections.
Your replacement pcb has LED pre-soldered into position for correct install and illumination, if adjustment is required. Pre-heat solder joints before adjustment.

The strobe pcb wedges between the brass pin and two
back side pins. Be sure to not the bottom of the pcb has two indentations
for The brown and
red wires to feed underneath and to the back.

Replace the original Strobe (on/off) pcb with the new
part.
The pcb should be wedged
between the back and two front pins that secure it in place.
The back pin, is grooved and fits into the center square hole of
the pcb as shown.
The brown and
red wires must wrap under the pcb in the notches
and rest into the groove in the back.
Adjustment should not be necessary, but if you need to. Use a solder iron do not move the LEDs without heating the solder joints!

If you have not already. Disconnect the cable socket "C202" as done when replacing the switch pcb (inside of turntable).

Unscrew the pcb from the housing and the screw holding the current green LED pitch slider pcb.
Do not adjust the "trim pot" labelled VR302. This is factory set for "0 point".

Using scissors, make a straight cut through the old LED legs at exactly Mid-Height of the area where the ball-bearing is located. Remove the screw and old pcb.

Using flat-nosed pliers, move the new LED Pitch PCB assembly gently down onto the old LEDs post legs.
Before re-installation. It is recommended to use compressed air (from a can or compressor) to clean out all the gunk inside of the slide potentiometer.
Do not introduce foreign substances such as oils, alcohol, wd-40 etc. It will only degrade the carbon track inside.

Screw the new LED Pitch PCB onto the holder, confirm the placement of the yellow and orange wires shown above. Replace pcb in unit and re-connect header "C202".
If you choose to replace by soldering with the unmounted LED supplied .
Simply unsolder the old LED from the PCB and insert the new LED with the longest leg to the right.
The shortest leg to the left, where the bar is located to the left of the arrow-head.

This is the last step of your replacements. Please go back and double-check your work!
After you are comfortable everything is installed as advised then re-assemble the turntable.
Test turntable functions. If a problem exist please check the install directions and installation before emailing for support.
